Twiwood Tales is a roguelite RPG with seductive tension, branching paths, and combat system that rewards planning, awareness, timing, and creativity.

Build your character, discover equipment and spells, learn new Techniques, take risks for greater rewards, and uncover what brought you to Twiwood in the first place.

Whether you're here for the combat, the story, or something more intimate, there is always another path to take.

Fight on Your Turn. Defend on Theirs.

Combat builds on classic turn-based RPG systems, but enemies don't simply attack while you watch.

Their attacks can be blocked, parried, or dodged in real time.

Perfect timing can save stamina and turn defence into an advantage, while heavier builds can rely on health, Techniques, healing and raw durability instead.

Enemies have their own attack patterns, elemental strengths and weaknesses, seductive Techniques, and bosses can change behaviour as their health falls.

How you survive is up to you.

Build for the Journey

Weapons, shields, catalysts and accessories support different combinations of Strength, Vitality, Haste, Intelligence, Faith, and Luck.

Equipment can be found throughout the world, crafted from enemy materials, and upgraded into stronger rarity tiers.

With dozens of equipment pieces, more than 100 crafting and upgrade recipes, multiple potion and grenade tiers, spells, consumables and combat buffs, there are plenty of ways to shape a run around the way you want to play.

The Church Awaits

Eventually, the Forest gives way to something much darker...

Entering the Church begins a deeper dungeon run with its own progression and economy.

Your accumulated experience, gains and sins are burned into Sacrificial Ash, forming the base reward for your descent.

Along the way you'll collect Blessings and Curses. Both increase your eventual reward, but the harsher the risk, the greater the potential return.

Survive, retreat, or die trying - the Ash you bring back can be spent through the Cinder Rite on permanent upgrades and shortcuts that affect future runs.

Not Every Weapon Is Steel

Sometimes the most effective Technique isn't a sword swing.

Seductive Techniques are fully integrated into combat and can deal damage, restore health or mana, or disrupt the flow of a fight.

However, enemies can use their own Techniques against you as well.

There are currently 14 seductive combat Techniques - 4 available to the hero and 10 used by enemies.

What you choose to do with your enemies is largely up to you.

Characters With More to Offer

It's not just fight, fight, fight.

Characters have their own dialogue, progression and encounters that unfold as you continue playing.

Some also introduce crafting and equipment upgrading and can be challenged. Each has adult content of their own.

There are also random events, puzzles, risky choices, seasonal encounters, quests, and rewards scattered throughout Twiwood.

Sometimes, the most interesting choice is the one that doesn't lead directly into battle.

Animated memories and intimate encounters can be discovered as you explore and deepen your relationships with Twiwood's inhabitants.
