On the great land of Aetheria, where mana is as abundant as air, the scourge of the demon monarch was brought to an end a thousand years ago when the heroine Luminas sacrificed her life to seal away the evil. In the shadows of history, the tribe once forced to serve as the demon monarch's minions was cursed and cast aside by the world.

Rosetta Veronica, a half-blood child of a night elf and a demon, was born with brilliant violet eyes and branded as the "child of evil's plaything." During her darkest years of aimless wandering, it was only Princess Elysia who extended a hand of kindness to her.

"Rosetta, do you swear to protect me and this kingdom, never abandoning us either in life or death?"

To protect her savior and the kingdom, Rosetta concealed her people's sorrow and rose to become the kingdom's strongest royal guard.
